My pixel 4a kept showing no service in the notification bar at the top of the phone. Couldn't send or receive texts or make phone calls even on wifi.
Finally I reset all mobile and network settings and everything immediately began to work again.
Service would show for a few minutes then no service before doing the reset.
If you have similar issues try resetting mobile and network settings. At least I didn't have to do a complete phone reset!
