My wife & I will be vacationing in Jamaica during June for one week.

Will upgrading to VISIBLE+ allow us to communicate with family back in the USA?

Also- will we be able to switch back to our regular VISIBLE accounts after we return?

According to the plan you can only call from Canada and Mexico to the US so upgrading to the plus plan will not help. I have read other posts that suggest to make sure your phone is set up to use wi-fi calling and switch to it before leaving the US. You can get a temporary SIM in Jamaica and use that.

That's a great question for your trip. Upgrading to VISIBLE+ will absolutely allow you to communicate with family back in the USA, as it includes roaming in Jamaica. Once you return, you can easily switch back to your regular Visible plan through your account settings.

Only if you are using Global Pass now. Without it you can't no matter which plan you are on. When I responded to the question 2 1/2 years ago Global Pass was not available at that time. You can still only call from US and Canada on the plus plan and from US, Canada, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands which none include Jamaica, that is only available through Global Pass. If you need a more definite answer contact Visible customer service, I am only a customer and never been to Jamaica, and don't plan to, ever since I been on Visible so if it is included then it being listed under Global Pass is a mistake.
