Stopping service from former carrier

When I activated my Visible account, there was a message the said: "we'll assign a phone number to your eSim.  You can transfer your current number after activation".  Now I have 2 phone numbers and am paying Visible and also my former carrier.  How do I cancel service from my former carrier?

You need to contact Chat via the Visible app or web site. Visible does everything via Chat. You'll likely need a port out pin from your prior carrier. Typically the old carrier will then cancel the account upon port completion but check with them.
