I've just received my SIM card from Visible, to be installed in my unlocked (not-from-Visible, newly-purchased) phone.
For a reason that he never stated, someone from Visible (or, perhaps, claiming to be from Visible?) phoned me, while I was in the middle of a Chat Support Session trying to get some questions answered.
I gave up on the Chat session (politely), since, after all someone had reached out and called me, and that seemed a faster way to get support.
So I figured the guy on the phone would help me. But just as I was explaining what I needed, the call suddenly hung up. (I did nothing.)
I waited, expecting a call-back, but didn't get one.
So, I tried to log in to my Visible account through the website, to resume a Chat session. But now, it claims my account has been locked due to too many unsuccessful attempts!
(I did not have a single unsuccessful attempt. I don't know what it's talking about.)
I tried calling the 1-800 number that had called me, and that number was clearly from a wireless company; but when I reached the "voice tree," it asked me to pick which provider ("For Simple Wireless, press 4. For Net10, press 5. For ...," etc., etc.) and Visible wasn't an option.
So, I can't log in,
I can't get the guy back on the phone,
and when I try to log in using the Visible app,
it claims that I'm locked out, but that it has sent an SMS message to help me get logged back in.
That last is NOT true; no SMS messages have come in.
This is rather frustrating. What do I do?
