Moving from Verizon to Visible -- quick questions

hey all.

Hopefully, an easy question.
I want to move from Verizon to Visible. I would be bringing 2 points and one apple watch, all with own lines and numbers. (will be replacing the watch with a phone when I signup)

My main question is, when i move from Verizon to Visible, do I need to go into my Verizon account to cancel my services I have setup currently? I am thinking yes of some sort, but thought I would ask the community.

Anything else I should be thinking about that I might have missed?

When you port a number to a new carrier that will cancel out your old carrier.
