My texts did not copy from my previous device

Hi all -- I just moved from Google Fi to Visible cell service Unfortunately my text threads did not copy in the data copy process. How do I get my text threads to move over to Visible?

If you still have access to those messages on the old phone download an app  from the Play store called SMS backup and restore. You have a few option where to back it up to, I use Google Drive but there is also Dropbox and OneDrive. Back up a copy on the old device to one of those location and then restore on the new device. I can't say for sure if this will work but worth a shot. I use this app, it's free, and I schedule it to back up my texts once a week.
