I've had no issues and used it a few times. Never had Verizon, but you are capped at 5mbps UP/DOWN. It's enough for me to work remotely. You have to tether it with your phone using USB or BlueTooth (do not recommend this). USB tethering was really good with low latency and VoIP worked well for me on remote office phone. If you are looking for blazing speed, this is not it. However, it has been reliable.
