I'm attempting to switch from republic to visible. When I go through the check out and enter my information for porting, it says "Verizon account" with my listed account number and then says it will be sending the information to Verizon to port (even though I selected republic wireless as my carrier). Is this normal?

When I ported my number in from Google Voice, the same thing happened. Everything went through fine. Just double check that the account number and pin are correct. When you go to activate service, the Visible app may show that the port hasn't completed. If you received an email with the subject "[your number] is ready to transfer to Visible.", the port was completed and it is safe to activate, despite the app saying otherwise.
