deciding if we want to switch

I am a long time Verizon customer thinking of switching to Visible.

Have questions: If I have a challenge with our iPhones, can I still go to a local Verizon store to have challenges fixed?

I

Can I still have my emails sent to my iPhone?

Does Visible send me monthly payment notices before due?

My current Verizon account date is the 26th of the month. Can I keep that due date, does it transfer from Verizon to Visible?

Being I paid my last due amount to Verizon for January 26, 2025 is there any credit that I would receive to transfer to a new Visible account?

Can I get my iPhone serviced at a Verizon store?

Can I still get my emails sent to my iPhone?

Does Visible send me a statement to pay my bill before it is due?

My current Verizon bill was paid for January 26 due date. Do I get a credit to Visible if I switch?

Visible is owned by Verizon but operates as a separate business, if you have issues with the phone service at Visible a Verizon store cannot help you fix the service issues. If you have issues with the phone itself and not the service unless the Verizon store is an authorized Apple repair place I don't think they can help even if you bought the phone their through Verizon. You would need to find an Apple store, an authorized Apple repair place which maybe try Best Buy, or send it to Apple for repair.

Changing to Visible does not affect emails and you should still receive them on the phone no matter the brand.

Visible does not send paper bills, everything is handled online. Since I started with Visible over 3 1/2 years ago I have had autopay turned on so I can't say if they send a notification when your bill is due. Autopay takes payment the night before your bill due date. If you pay manually and not with autopay you can pay up to 7 prior to the due date, the due date is the exact same every month. Example, if you activate on the 12th day of February your future bills will be on the 12th day of every month. If you don't like to turn on autopay I would then suggest setting a reminder in the calendar with a notification to pay your bill 4-5 days prior to due date.

You will not get a credit to Visible for any payments made to Verizon. I have not been on any Verizon plans but I believe if you are on a post paid plan they should prorate your last bill and give a refund. If you are on a Verizon prepaid plan you would likely not get any kind of refund for any remaining days left in billing cycle. Same goes for if you leave Visible during the month, including the annual plan, you will forfeit any remaining days/months left in your billing cycle, there are no refunds at Visible once paid and activated.

If you decide to move to Visible make sure to leave your account activated and paid for until after the port is complete. If you close your account on Verizon before porting to Visible you will lose your number. Porting to Visible will close your account at Verizon, just make sure to turn off autopay at Verizon before porting.

One other thing to be aware of is that Visible has no brick and mortar stores to go to for help if you have issues with phone service or activating. They DO NOT have a phone number to call either if you have these issues. The only way to contact Visible customer service is by using chat on their app or website or by messaging them on one of their social media platforms such as Facebook, X(Twitter), Instagram or their support page on Reddit. I am not trying to change your mind about Visible but just want you to be aware of how Visible handles their customer service and this type of customer service isn't for everyone. I don't mind it for what they offer and what I pay but customer service can be challenging here.
