No, if you select the Visible $30 plan once you activate the new sim there will be a $5 discount applied called member value discount. It may say $30 in your cart when you check out but once you activate the new Sim your account will show the discount. You can also take advantage of the plus plan for $35 a month if that interests you, that promo is going until March 31st.
