Group chat "unavailable"

I have a Samsung Galaxy S20FE, and I just switched from Verizon to Visible. 

I've had an ongoing group chat for a while. When I switched to Visible, and I go to my group chat, I now have a message that says "This chat is unavailable right now. Turn on RCS in settings to continue chatting" with a link  to turn it on. When I click that link, the settings screen says "Status: Setting up..." and "Trying to verify your phone number...".

What do I need to do to get this working again?

You didn't mention what app you are using. If you are Samsung messages app they have since dropped support for it and RCS chats. So if you can't get RCS chats to turn on you will have to switch to Google Messages app for that.

If you are using Google Messages and still having issues verifying your number try contacting Visible customer service to see if they can assist.
