Joining Visible

Just received open-box phone from eBay w/no IMEI # on package. How do I get the # w/out turning on phone?

The online instructions say not to turn on phone until you activate w/sim card; Visible won't send me a sim w/out 1st giving them the IMEI #.

Any suggestions (it's an Orbic Joy)?

You can't. Not sure what instructions tell you not to turn on phone until you activate with a SIM card but that doesn't sound right. 

If the IMEI number is not listed on order you are going to have to turn the phone on and go to settings/about phone to get it. 

If it passes the IMEI checker and get a card shipped at some point before you can activate you would need to turn on the phone, download the app in order to activate the Visible SIM.

Hi, Visible said my phone was incompatible w/them but I could return the phone I'd just bought & buy 1of the visible phones : )

That would be your best bet. Keep in mind buying a phone from Visible locks to them for 60 days(continuous) and won't be able to be used on another carrier if you decide to leave before the 60 days are up.
