Apple Watch and a plan

Please help. I’d like to add a plan to my #Apple Watch, I think. But it says to go to my watch app to add a plan. ???  I don’t see an option in my watch app to add a cellular plan. I am sooo lost. And waiting on someone from support to chat with literally takes all night! 🥺. Can anyone help?

Hello @Michelle to add a plan to your Watch.

Open the Apple Watch application on your iPhone.

Tap My Watch, then tap Cellular.
