Cancel Google Fi First?

I have an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S21 (not + or Ultra) with Google Fi as the current carrier (eSim). While it is listed on the phone model compatibility list, the IMEI fails the lookup. I found this on Visible:

• Your phone has to be carrier unlocked to be compatible with our network.

If I stop my Google Fi service, will it immediately pass the IMEI test? I don't want to shut off Fi unless I know I will be able to start Visible.

I make no guarantees but it wouldn't hurt you to have a sim over nighted from Visible and stop Google phone service and try putting the sim in and seeing what happens.  I would delete the e sim first.

I used customer service chat. Phone model is compatible. IMEI lookup is not ready for prime time. Luckily, with current bring your own phone rebates of $500/phone, regular Verizon ended up being cheaper than Visible and their IMEI lookup worked fine.
