Incorrect area code assigned

I am beyond frustrated!!!! I created an account for myself 5 days ago and was given the correct area code. I went to create my son an account and the system created a phone number with an area code for a different part of the state and none of the multiple agents I spoke with can correct it. Now when asking the agent to cancel the account and refund the money so I can go to a provider that will give him the correct area code she suddenly doesn’t understand what I’m asking.

If you are so much into area code (in reality that doesn't matter) you can use the service for a month (which you have paid for, if they don't refund you)

 

Next month create a new account and get a new number with your area code.
