Would love to see my Oneplus 8T getting 5G...

Hello all!

Something very simple, oneplus 8t should most definitely get support for 5G. Is capable super fast and the newest oneplus model.

I currently have a oneplus 8t with visible but it kind of bothers me that we are wasting the true potential of this device by limiting to only 4G LTE.

Are we oneplus fans and specifically for the newest oneplus 8t getting 5G support anytime soon?

To turn on 5G on your OnePlus 8/pro or OnePlus 9/pro do the following:

1) Dial *#*#4636#*#*

2) Choose "Phone Information"

3) Under "Set Preferred Network Type:" choose "NR/LTE"

4) Enjoy your 5G connection!
