I need to verify and unlock my phone for my new carrier service.



Hi @Magpie - Are you referring to transferring the phone FROM Visible to another provider OR TO Visible from another provider?

If FROM Visible, you'll need to pay off the phone if you have it on a payment plan.

The same thing is likely true if moving to Visible from another carrier.  Other times carriers will require you to have service with them for "X" amount of months because they gave you a discount on the phone.  You'll likely want to go back and review the documentation that came with the promotion or reach out to your carrier for further clarification.
