Do I need to cancel my old Verizon plan now that I've joined Visible, or is that done automatically by Visible?

If you ported your number over the old plan should be cancelled automatically when the port is complete.

It wouldn't hurt to follow up directly with Verizon to make sure you don't continue to get billed by your old plan.
